My favorite picture !!!

My favorite picture is this landscape, taken earlier this year on a trip to "Prata do Piaui" with my friend Ana Claudia.
She was born there and invited me to spend some days there ... I loved the city especially that place!
that's where all residents and visitors come to take a shower, meet friends and have fun!
I loved it and I hope to return very soon there!!

Beautiful place

This photo is special for me because this place that I went it is very beautiful. My boyfriend took me to met it in last vacation I had. It is located in Ceará. It is a more than beautiful. This place transmits very calm and when I stayed there I don´t want to think about anything. Just keep watching nature and appreciated it. I almost didn´t come though on this day. I was delighted with the beauty I saw!!!

   This is my dog. His name is Bidu. I took this photo in 2008, I was in my ocious day and he was clean then I enjoyed the moment. I like it because it is the only photo that he was calm and he posed for the camera. He looks cute. I made the punk hair for the photo.

Holy week!

This is my favorite photo, I've took it in Recife when I was backing to Olinda on the holy week(April 1st-4fh)with my friends, we were on the bus....this photo looks like a magazine photo, maybe I like it so much because this!!

Monument of a great man

One of my favorite photos is The Monument of Donizetti Adalto. Well, I like this photo, I think Donizetti was a great man in addition to being a journalist and television presenter in the Brazilian program MN 40 degrees of TV Meio Norte.
He was a candidate for federal deputy for PPS too. Donizetti also created slogans and phrases which are still remembered by people as Piauí: "I die and not see everything" and "Christ is coming back," or words such as thievery, societal armadillo and mamism.
The slogan Adalto Donizetti's candidacy was "not shut up shut" and "stick in the mafia." All of them were part of his career.
I admire and like this guy for his talent and intelligence and for his courage and I'm sure he will never be forgotten by many friends in Piaui.

One of my favourite photos is Ramiro and me, he's one of singers whose sing with André Valadão.

I took the photo in 2006 in André Valadão's show at Verdão.

When the show finished, we went in the backstage, then I asked to him to take a photo with me, and he said "yes", although it was raining.

Ramiro is very handsome and a nice guy, he was extremely polite with me. He came close of me and he laughed to my friend who took the photo.

I love this photo, because when I look at it I remember that wonderful nigth and how much I had a great time.

I like taking photos so its complicated to choose, but this photo was took by my friend on 19 june 2010, in zona leste joguei Teresina. We were in a party typical Brazilian that I didn´t know before "sao joao".

I choose this photo bacause It´s so beutiful and I´ll never forget this party.

Well, this photo was taken by my father when we were in Petra-Jordan.
Choosing my favorite photo was something difficult because there are so many photos I like... But this one is really beatiful, because I'm with my mother riding a cammel.
Seeing this picture makes me remember the days I spent there, the experience I had and what I was feeling at that moment.
Sometimes, I think I should have never come back to Brazil...
I keep this photo because I don't know if someday I'll be able to visit other countries, but I would really like to feel again what I felt that day.

One of my favorite photos is this name on this mountain.
Of course I didn't take this photo, I just put it here because I've backed up my computer and all my amazing photos were gone.
Well, I've been loving this picture since my childhood until now, it's so famous!
I'm still looking forward to get there soon, I don't know if I'm going to go there in this year, because my phone is blowing up and I must work hard next semester. Maybe someday, who knows!?

One of my favourite photo is of a simple place.

I took this photo in April last year when I was on holiday in São João dos Patos and Nova Iorque-MA.

I was with my family, relatives and friends, in general there were 16 people in Nova Iorque's bath and in the house in SJP. When I took it, there were some people preparing a barbecue or walking around and taking a bath in the river.

This photo was taken when I wanted to take many photos of that place. And I saw the panorama and I liked it.

I keep it in my computer. I like it, first because I taken it and second this photo is a reminder of that wonderful day and that wonderful trip.

One my favourite photos is of a singer.
I took the photo last Friday eve Valentine's Day in Brazil.
I was in Teresina, at "Centro de Artesanato", and my favourite singer he made a romantic show, was wonderful.
Henrique Cerqueira, the singer, is a romantic composer, his songs speaking about love, friendship and God.
I Keep this photo on the wall in my bedroom. I love Henrique's songs, are very special for me.

My idol

My idol is my mother. Because she teached me to be everything I ´m today. She is everything to me. I ´m very grateful to her. When I was a alone girl. I have no sister, I only have one brother. She was always my best friend. She always helps me when I need. And she´ll be by my side . I love her without measure!!!

Idol?

I don't really know who's my idol; there are so many people I really admire....
But maybe this woman is the one I adimire the most because she is one of the greatest singers I've ever seen in my Life.
Simone Simons is a Dutch mezzo-soprano singer (the perfect type of voice for me).
She is 25 years old, I guess. She is the woman front vocalist from Epica.
She has the most sweet voice I've ever heard.
Everyday, I try a little bit to sing like her, but there are some notes she sings that I really can't reach :(
So, I think she is my "idol", but not like that...
This woman is great. Get to know her if you wish to :)

* My Idols*

Well, I don’t have only an idol because I consider many people special to me and I admire them. Here I quote them. First of all, God, of course, because it's in whom I trust and believe very much. Second my parents, because they are always help me and supporting me when more precise. And finally my friends who are people I admire a lot, for me to accept the way I am and for they giving me the joy, happiness and for they are present in both good times and in difficult moments of my life. If there is someone who doesn't like them, I simply don’t care, because there is a person who consider them very much: Me. Anyway, I love them all and know that they love me too. THAT’S ALL.

She is the strongest and wisest person I've ever met! She has a great heart and she taught me what really matters in this life: love, friendship, forgiveness, patience, ... I am what I am today because she was always by my side. Thank God she still is!

I was a very sick kid until 5 years old, and so was my brother, but she took care of us night and day... so devotedly! I really admire her and love her with all my heart.
But, obviously, she has her bad points, too. So, I don't know if I want to be like her someday. All I can say is that she's my safety... just by hugging her I know everything's going to be OK.s2

My other idol is Chico Buarque.He is a great singer,a great poet, a great writer and was a great activist too. Chico was the one of artists most active against the military dictatorship and he fought for the democratization of Brazil. For me, Chico Buarque is the most beautiful man in the world! I love Chico foreveer. ;)

My Idol is "The Leader": Winston Churchill

Owner of a wild life style, Winston Churchill led the English empire to the victory against the nazi Germany, always persistent and self confident he knew the right time and place to take the most polemical but successful decisions during the war.

During his youth he wasn't an example of a good guy, he didn't like to study, however he had studied at the best English schools, son of a rich family but owner of a rebel mind, he entered to the English cavalry just because the tests were easy, after that he ran a "pursuit of richness" trying to arise in the career but only with money in his mind. and he done. but after some mistakes in battles and decisions he went retired of the army life, working as war correspondent to some newspapers from England, he became famous with his criticism and ideals so he led English troops in various wars and after that he became the Prime minister of England during the second world war taking hard decisions in critic times but always the right decisions, incetivating the science during the war, having new ideas that the axis didn't have, working with resistence even in very big situations and for sure constructing a new world after war, the contemporary western culture and history owes a lot to Churchill.

He was a great speaker too, motivating not only the english people but all allied forces around the world to fight until the next bullet to preserve the world as we know today full of freedom, capitalism and democracy and his Ideals are followed until now.

Love all my family, I admire my mother and father because they worked hard, and still keep working for our family. I love my father for being a person of character, very patient, sincere. He works at the Municipal Health Foundation in SAMU. My mother is also another "warrior" lol. After having three children has a college degree, works in sales and she loves what she does! Well, I don't have anyfamous person like an "idol", but there is a person who I admire very much. This person is my mother. I think she's a hard-working and courageous woman. Everybody who knows her, agrees with me.

This very important woman's name is Idete. She's 40 years old, but no says that. Everybody says that she's younger than her true age. She's very beatiful and extrovert.

My mom is a hairdresser and a saleswoman. I admire the way that she works and lives, because even when she's tired of work she laughs and makes the people around her laugh too.

My Idol

I really tell that my idol is my sister Alice, because she is the only person that I tell my secrets and she´s as a mother for me. Alice takes cares of me like she cares for her children and always listens to me and understand me when I´m in times difficulties. And above all never bothers anyone, even when there are reasons. She is really a person of fiber. I ove her very much. I would even be equal to her. My deepest secrets I count just for her because I know she will always understand me and gives me grounds if I´m right, or advice if I´m wrong. She is my second fortress, for first is God.

My Idol is Walter Elias Disney,"Walt Disney", because he created a dream world that delights children and adults.

He went through many difficulties during his climb, but Disney's motto was always "Keep moving forward". 

The first characteres he created were stolen, then created Mickey Mouse, a great sucess of Disney Company. Before he created Cinderella and the "Disney Company" reborn after a bad patch.

Opened in 1955 the them park Disneyland in Anahein-C.A. Today, Disney Company have many them parks, TV channels, books, movies, city com,  toys, DVD's, CD's, famous artists ( Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Selena Gomez, Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato...), etc.

My everything

Well, first of all, my everything is Jesus. He is my Savior, my Lord, and my Light. He showed His great love for me and for everybody else dying on a cross. I know I must try to live as He lived and follow His example in everything in my life. It is not an easy thing to do, but it is something I must try daily.

In my professional life, my role model is Prof. Dr. Ma. Antonieta A. Celani. She was my advisor in my doctorate. She's considered the pioneer in English post-graduation courses in Brazil and has been involved with Teachers training for many years. Even though, she is so famous and recognized in Brazil and in other countries, she is very humble and puts herself in the situation of someone who has a lot to learn. That's why she is someone I look up to. I hope I can be a little bit like her and help others as she has helped me and many, many other English teachers in Brazil.

I love this film(my girl) tells the story of a young girl and her discoveries about life, both physically and sentimental. He was released at a time when I was doing some of these findings, why I like it, reminds me of a good time!
well, for music, love the band evanescence but especially the song my immortal, reminds me a sad moment, matters of the heart if you understand (LOL). So she scored a lot.

My Idols

My first idol is my mother. She is a teacher. I admire her because she had many problems of health, she fought against them, she works a lot, she helps everybody when she can help, she climbed in life, when she was a child, she suffered a lot, nevertheless she was and is happy. I learned from her, since when I was a child that the simple things of life worths more that another thing like material things. The second person that I admire is Pitty. She is a rocker singer from Bahia and I admire her because her lyrics are very interesting, her way of dressing, thinking, the passion for music. Her songs are about society, worths, carpe diem, and other kinds. Her lyrics are " intelligent" because she read a lot, And I got more knowledge with them.

My Best Idol

My great idol is Kurt Donald Cobain of Nirvana grunge band of the Seattle's sound. He was a famous musician of a garage band of Seattle called Nirvana. He fought for the independence of the punk ethic and was true to this movement, which gained fame in the '70s with protests against the absurd rules imposed on society by bad governments and were followed by people.

I admire this guy for his great talent, his intelligence, his ideology influences one that a generation of 90 years and others even today and his music which inspired many underground bands in the world. This guy is my idol since 7 years ago when I started to like rock.
I'd rather take the good part of his life as his music and his unique way of doing everything to see his fans happy.

My Hero Idols²

I can not think of other ones, but my PARENTS. At first, cause they're, were and will be the only two people to infer in my whole life. They look after me all the time, always help me when I'm in need, and I love'em² a lot, too.
Although some famous people are icons to be idols, they don't change my life directly, they're just people-literature!
As far as I know, everybody, who knows who they are, likes my idols. But if someone doesn't like them, I really don't care! As I already wrote, I love'em² a lot! And they're my true friends that I've ever had. Oh! I can't forget to write that my idols are doctors, lawyers, enginneers, teachers and so many other professions you can imangine. I ain't a Hero Idol as they're yet, but I'll learn someday!

my favorite movie ever is the Crusade a journey through the times .I remenber I watched this fim more than twice,and the most interesting thing on this old movie it is the akcent, totally british,I mean they are from UK they from holland what makes it more interesting.

This song makes me feel ''un-worried'' and light as a leaf.my friends are tired of listening to this song,they complain but what can I do? I like it.But when another energetic has been released I will switch of favorite songs.

The best song to me is ( Eternos Amigos) a music in Portuguese, i heard it at EJC (Encontro de Jovens com Cristo). there I could see who are my true friends, and try to be a better person, changing some actions to better and exclude other.

Well, it´s difficult to choose the son that made part of my life. But my immortal by evanescence, really the song when I was more young. Because I like songs sad. This song is very sad, that talk about the finish of a relation. The lyric is very nice at the Amy Lee voice. She´s wonderful!

Musics and movies I like

It was hard to me choose musics that changed my life. I chose Scar Tissue - Red Hot, Dom Quixote and Eu que não amo você - Engenheiros do Hawaii, Feel Good Inc. - Gorillaz. I like sad songs and these musics make me feel good, because I heard in my adolescence. Nostalgia sometimes is good. And about movies, I chose the first movie that I saw with my sister it is "There's something about Mary" I watched a long time ago and it's very funny. It didn't change my life but means a lot for me, because make me think happy moments.

MY FAVORITE!!!!!!!!!!

To watch movies is one thing that i like a lot. One of my favorites movies is "I am Sam" ("UMA LIÇÃO DE AMOR"). In the first time that I saw this movie I cried a lot,but I laughed too. "I am Sam" it's a beautiful story about inconditional love. A father's love that won all the difficulties to continue with his daughter. This movie shows enormous human generosity.

Well, I love movies! I think they make us cry, laugh, feel, learn, understand, many things... Good movies are part of our lives.

The one I decided to share with you is Dead Poet's Society. I'm sure you've seen it, if you haven't you must, because I think it is wonderful for anybody, but specially for teachers.

It talks about a teacher, John Keating (Robin Williams), who returns to his former school, now as a literature teacher and starts changing the old-fashioned and traditional methods, but what is more interesting is that he helps his students by showing them how to be free, to pursue their dreams and to believe in themselves.

He faces problems and at the end he has to leave the school, but he has changed many things, specially the lives of his students.

There are many memorable situations and quotations from the movie. Look at some:

Well, I love music soo much and is complicated to choose only one. But, the songs that "change my life" are: Listen to your heart- Roxette,Under the bridge- Red Hot and Ordinary world-Duran Duran. These songs are so important to me... when I listen I cry and remember my childhood or other thing that I miss.The message of these songs are so sad, and I like this type of music.

About movies, I like "The life of David Gale".These film is an American drama about a man against capital punishment accused of murdering a fellow activist and is sent to die. It´s so interesting and impress me.

Well, I love music. There are some songs that last forever in our lives and everytime we hear them we remeber someone, something, somewhere, etc... So, it's not like I have a favorite song. It depends on the moment :)
About movies... I like the ones that make me cry and laugh so that I can still see the good things through the tears! Like "My sister's keeper", "Click", "Brilliant Mind", "The fox and the dog", etc. But it also depends on my mood ;P
I like things that touch my heart^^

A book and a song I like.

One of the books that I liked most was "The Catcher in the Rye" (O Apanhador no campo de centeio, in portuguese) by J.D. Salinger. It's about a 16 years old boy, named Holden Caufield, who studies in a school far from New York, where his parentes live. He failed and he's expelled. But it happens on Sunday, and he's supposed to be home only on Wednesday. Because of this, he has some adventures and reflections about life. I recognized myself in some parts, because I used to be like Holden when I was his age: I thought that everybody was dumb and hypocrite. It must be typical of this age.

I just can't decide what's my favourite movie because there are many special ones, so, I'll skip it. The song I picked up as one of the most important for me is All These Things I've Done, by the american rock indie band The Killers. Perhaps, this is not "the song of my life" (I don't even know if there's one), but it's very special for me. It talks about existencial matters and never giving up on something.

My favorite movie

I decided write about my favorite movie because it is very important in my life. The movie is: 10 things I hate about you (in portugese- 10 coisas que eu odeio em você).

This movie is based on "The Teaming of the Shrew" (in portugese- A Megera Domada) by Willian Shakespeare, the new version of the story, a girl who is different the rest of her class, falls for a boy more different than she.

My favorite actor, Heath Ledger is in the movie, unfortunately he died last year. I was  very, VEEEEERY SAD by the news.

The lesson of the story is learn loves despite differences and do what the heart telly you no matter what others think.

The soundtrack is wonderful, my favorite music is "Can't take  my eyes off of you"  by Frank Valli, but in the movie Heath Ledger sings the music.

The best part of the movie is when the girl recites a poem directed to the bad-boy and ends up very thriling. I loooooooooves this poem, I'll put here!!!
